About MCPAL

MCPAL is an affiliate with the National and California Police Activities League chapters. MCPAL is lead by the Executive Director, Mr. Al De Vos, and our five governing board members, who work together to ensure MCPAL’s mission is carried out in all of our program activities.  MCPAL is a small organization, but with the help of over 170 volunteers, we provide services to nearly 2000 youth annually.

Our Goals Are To:

  • To instill in youth a lifestyle of respect and understanding for their peers, community and law enforcement officers.
  • To assist youth in developing positive growth by providing life-skills to help them excel in school, at home and throughout the community at large.
  • To involve law enforcement, parents, community volunteers and youth leaders in a personal commitment of time and energy to the youth of the community.
